Vadim Ovchinnikov Managing Director

Mr. Ovchinnikov has over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy, US GAAP, internal controls, and financial due diligence. During his professional career, Vadim played an active role in mergers & acquisitions transaction analysis and execution, valuation, structured finance CBO payment date servicing, performance measurement, assessment of corporate hedging programs, financial audits, and setting US GAAP for derivatives and complex hybrid financial instruments. Among his clients were such prominent companies as Freddie Mac, PPM America Inc, Bank of America, Volkswagen Credit Inc, Volkswagen Bank, American General Financial Services (AIG), BearingPoint Inc, AES Corporation, Citadel Investment Group, Strong Funds, US Bank Piper Jaffray, Man Financial Inc, and many others.

Prior to forming Chicago Advisory Group, Vadim worked in Mergers & Acquisitions for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Eastern Europe. Prior to that, he worked in Chicago for Crowe Chizek and Company LLC in Mergers & Acquisitions Transaction Services and at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP focusing on servicing capital markets, investment management and banking clients. Vadim started his career at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) in the New York Tri-State area where he was a member of the Derivatives Implementation Team and the Financial Instruments Team.

Mr. Ovchinnikov received a Master’s degree (Magna Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is a CFA charterholder and a licensed CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the CFA Society of Chicago and Washington DC, and the CFA Institute.

Dmitri Malinovski Managing Director

Mr. Malinovski has over 10 years of experience in management consulting, finance, US GAAP, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, internal control evaluation and testing, financial audit and performance management. During his professional career, Dmitri has been involved in consulting on process improvement, change management, performance measurement methodology, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance, accounting and financial policies, and financial audits. He possesses a strong knowledge of due diligence, finance, business operations, and capital markets and has excellent team management skills. He brings experience in planning, performing and managing the delivery of assurance and advisory services to both public and private companies in a variety of industries. Some of his clients included such well-known companies and organizations as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, The World Bank, The Discovery Channel, PG&E, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Energy East, Allegheny Energy, Bristol Meyers Squibb, the Transportation Security Administration, USA Today and Interpublic Group.

Prior to Chicago Advisory Group, Dmitri worked in Assurance & Advisory for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington, DC. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked for Deloitte Consulting in CFO Services Group focusing on services that included process improvement, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and performance management projects. Mr. Malinovski started his career at Deloitte & Touche in Washington, DC where he worked in the Assurance & Advisory Services Group. Prior to starting his consulting career, he worked in police forces.

Mr. Malinovski received a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Accounting and International Business from Brigham Young University. He is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Certified Fraud Examiners Society in Washington, DC.

Natalia Kirpikova Director

Ms. Kirpikova has over 15 years of experience in designing and executing organizational communication strategies, managing learning programs in the international arena, and implementing programs to improve organizational effectiveness. Ms. Kirpikova’s consulting experience includes designing and implementing change interventions in the following areas: Organization Analysis and Diagnosis; Integrated Strategic Change; Organization Change and Communication; Stakeholder Engagement Strategy; Creating Collaborative Work Environment; Team Building; Facilitation; Training on Effective Communication and Negotiation; Performance Coaching. Natalia has worked on projects in Belgium, Bosnia, Canada, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, and Ukraine.

Ms. Kirpikova’s clients include the World Bank, USAID, and private businesses. Prior to her consulting career, Natalia was Director of Communications for the Moscow office of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Prior to that, Ms. Kirpikova worked as a project manager for international development projects focusing on managing training programs for key stakeholders in reform initiatives, advising on communication and information campaigns, helping the design and implementation of community development programs; fostering participatory approach to reforms.

Ms. Kirpikova holds a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from American University, a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a degree (Master’s equivalent) in Education and Applied Linguistics from the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Natalia is a member of the US Organization Development Network, Chesapeake Bay Organization Development Network, and Public Relations Association of Russia.
